About Viking’s Fitness Classes

Being fit is a key component to a healthy lifestyle. Our fitness programs are geared toward getting people in the habit of being active in a fun, socially involved way. People of all levels of fitness are welcomed to enroll because the Viking Activity Center is a judgement free zone.

Running Club

Join the running club and get back into shape with Coach Chris. This morning class will see Coach Chris take the group on a run throughout Brookline. Each week the distances increase. Carefully planned running plans are provided so runners can pound the pavement in-between classes. The goal is to improve each runner’s cardiovascular health.

This class is designed for the person looking to get back into the habit of working out. Work with Coach Trevor on a variety of exercises that focus on improving muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness. Everything we do in this class can be replicated at home because we don’t use a lot of fancy equipment.

Fit Kids

Fit Kids focus is having kids get fit through fun games and challenges including obstacle courses, relay races, and individual fitness challenges. Kids of all physical abilities are welcome to register.
