At Viking’s Newton Basketball Camps, we teach campers all of the skills necessary to become a legend on the court. Our coaches teach both basic and advanced techniques that are important on both sides of the ball. During the week, players will work on perfecting their dribbling, shooting, passing, defensive positioning and more. Viking coaches also teach players how to run different plays and defensive strategies (i.e. zone and man-to-man). Players’ skills will be showcased in a variety of games including Knockout, Dynasty, and Steal the Cookies. All Viking Newton Basketball Camps conclude with the Viking Final Four!
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: Registration is done through the Newton Recreation Department. To register:
1. Click on “Register Now” (this will redirect to the Newton Rec website)
2. Click on the camp you want to register for (you will need to create an account with the Newton Rec)
3. Registration links for early drop off (8am – 9am) and extended day (3pm – 6pm) can be found further down the registration page
4. Follow the registration instructions
