David Amirani joins the Viking family to oversee and implement all of the Viking sports soccer programs. Born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, he started playing soccer at just 5 years old. David played in the Georgian youth national team and was ranked one of the top players in the country. Since his move to the United States, he continued his career in New york cosmos academy ranking him the #1 player in New York and #57 in the nation. At the age of 16, he traveled in Europe playing at the professional level with clubs such as Malaga FC (Spain), Vitesse Arnhem (Netherlands), Freiburg FC (Germany). David signed with the D1 soccer program at Boston University in 2014 where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Sciences. After his soccer career was cut short due to an injury, David has since dedicated his knowledge and love for the game to helping the youth achieve varying levels of greatness on and off the pitch. In his downtime, David is working towards acquiring FIFA licenses to aid him in building a soccer school in the near future.
