This summer, the field Viking normally uses for its summer sports camps, Cypress Field at Brookline High School, is being renovated. Therefore, we will be running our super fun, exciting, action-packed, all-out-awesome summer sports camps this year at the Edith C. Baker School (205 Beverly Rd, Chestnut Hill/Brookline). This change in location will NOT affect any of our camp offerings or how we run camp. The Baker School is a beautiful school with all of the same outdoor and indoor amenities we currently use at Brookline High (maybe even more than what we use at Brookline High!)
We are super excited to run camp in a new location this summer and we are equally excited to see the renovated Cypress Field at the end of this year. For those of you who like Cypress Field because you may have walked your children to this location in previous summers, we are looking into hiring a shuttle service to transport campers at the beginning and end of camp each day from Brookline High School to Baker and back. No promises yet that this will happen, but we are actively trying to determine if we will be able to provide this service. Feel free to email us and let us know if this is a service you would like!
Finally, we want to thank you all for being so supportive of Viking Sports all of these years. Our number one priority at Viking is to run a fun and safe sports camp for kids of all ages and athletic abilities, and we look forward to continuing to do so at the Baker School this summer!
