Viking After School

About

During the 2017-18 academic school year, Viking is excited to offer Viking After School! This after school program offers a combination of homework help and fun sports activities for kids in grades 3rd – 5th. To coincide with the end of the school day, Viking After School starts at 2:30pm and ends at 6:00pm on Mondays-Thursdays and the Fridays hours are 1:40-6:00pm.

Viking After School takes place at the Viking Activity Center located at 143 Cypress and is lead by an experienced member of our staff. The first hour of the program is about fun. On nice weather days we will go to Brookline High School and play some fun games including soccer, dodgeball, floor hockey, and basketball. The second hour we come back to the office to work on homework. After that kids can play games in the Activity Center, relax, or continue to finish their school work.

Coaches who are apart of our Viking Scholars tutoring program will oversee the the After School program and will work with your child to provide homework.

We break the Viking After School program into eight week sessions. Sessions start on your child’s first day.

Option 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday –  $600/8 weeks ($25/day)

Option 2: Tuesday & Thursday- $480/8 weeks ($30/day)

Option 3: Monday through Friday- $800/8 weeks ($20/day)

Option 4: Daily- $45/day

Coaching Staff

Coaches who lead Viking After School are trained through our Viking Scholars tutoring program to ensure your child is getting the right help with their homework. It is important to note that our coaches are not providing tutoring services during this time. If you wish for your child to have a tutor, let us know so we connect you with the correct Viking Scholar tutor.

  • WAIVER / INDEMNIFICATION
    Parent(s) or legal guardian must sign below before player is accepted to participate in any Viking Sports Camp, Clinic, League, Open-Play, Party, Lesson, Class and/or Activity:
    As parent/legal guardian of the child/children named herein, I hereby represent that the child/children has been examined by a pediatrician and is physically fit to participate in the Viking Sports Camp, Clinic, League, Open-Play, Party, Lesson, Class and/or Activity. I understand there are inherent risks in participating in this athletic program. I hereby accept responsibility for and agree to pay any and all costs of medical treatment resulting from any injury suffered by my child/children as a result of his/her participation at the Viking Sports Camps. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Viking Soccer Camp, Inc., its agents, servants, employees and/or representatives from any and all liability, damage, cost or expense arising out of my child’s participation, of every kind and nature, at all Viking Sports Camps, Clinics, Leagues, Open-Plays, Parties, Lessons, Classes and Activities. Consent is given for using photos/audio/video of the camper by The Viking Soccer Camp, Inc. for promotional purposes, including use by professional camping associations
    In the event that I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby give permission for care to be administered by a qualified The Viking Soccer Camp, Inc. staff member, emergency medical technician, physician/staff of a hospital, or any other qualified individual to provide any medical treatment deemed necessary for my child/children.
