We are opening up the Viking Activity Center as a place where students can do remote learning. Space is extremely limited. How it Works in the Viking Activity Center
Coach AJ and Coach Tyler from the Viking team will proctor the remote learning experience. Each student will have their own workspace 6 feet away from other students. While doing school inside of the Viking Activity Center, students will be required to wear masks. There will be plenty of opportunities for the masks to come off during breaks.
During the school day if students need help with the technology, an academic task, or navigating the technology the Viking proctor will help. Students will be required to provide their own remote learning device (Chromebook or laptop), headphones, snacks, and lunch.
Once the day is over the Viking staff will clean and disinfect the Viking Activity Center making sure its ready for the next school day.
Registration
We only have the ability for 5 students in grades 1st-6th to participate in this service in the Viking Activity Center starting September 21st. Our hope is to have the same group of students for the duration of remote school. If the remote school year is extended or becomes hybrid, we will continue this service to match the remote potion of the school offering. The 5 students who end up doing remote school at the Viking Activity Center will have the right of first refusal if the remote school year is extended past October.
When registering, you will first be directed to a registration form which saves a spot for your child or children. Coach Nicole will talk to each family to make sure this service is a good fit and to walk through what a school day will look like. Space is available on a first come first serve basis. Payment will be due prior to the start of this service.
Pricing & Schedule
Payments can be made weekly or monthly. The price is $525/week which is prorated accordingly to factor in holidays. Please note half days and early release days are not prorated.

Drop Off
Drop off takes place between 7:30-7:45am. Each child is required to complete a daily COVID attestation and wellness check prior to entering the facility. If the student does not pass the wellness check, they will not be permitted into the facility.
