One a beautiful fall Saturday we threw a flag football birthday party for a 9 year old (a 5-year Viking Sports veteran camper) and his friends. Teams were made, flags were pulled, routes were scorched into the grass, footballs were caught, and fumbles were nonexistent. The teams were evenly split on the field, and Coaches Zeus and Chris presided as the QB’s for the teams. After a few successful trick plays, high steppin’, and miraculous grabs, they ended regulation with the Bday boys team scoring 49 to their opponents 42 points. Pulling a fresh birthday W! Once game time concluded, the kids ate cupcakes, spiked trash in the bucket, washed their hands and got together for a group picture.
It truly was a Flag Football party for the win.
