The Framingham Impact Awards is an uplifting event dedicated to honoring the spirit of leadership, positivity, and service within our city. Presented by LeRoy Watkins with Viking Sports in collaboration with Access Framingham TV and the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, this event shines a spotlight on the students and citizens who make Framingham a better place every day.
Honoring Our Changemakers
We are looking for the next generation of leaders. Our awards recognize:
Students: 5th through 11th-grade students who have made meaningful contributions to their schools, peers, and neighborhoods.
Framingham Person of the Year: A special tribute to one outstanding community member who has created a lasting, positive difference in our city
The Experience
This 90-minute “feel-good” event combines live recognition with high-quality storytelling.
- Professional Video Features: Each of our 10-12 finalists will have their story told through a professionally produced short film by Good Energy with LeRoy Watkins.
- Live Gala: Join us for a night of on-stage award presentations, student performances, and local music.
- City-Wide Broadcast: The entire event and all finalist features will be aired on Access Framingham TV, providing a platform for positive storytelling across the community.
Nomination & Selection
Do you know a student or neighbor who embodies all the positive things that Framingham has to offer?
- Open Nominations: Students may nominate themselves or be nominated by teachers, coaches, or peers.
- Expert Committee: Submissions are reviewed by a Selection Committee of local educators, civic leaders, and business partners.
- Finalist Interviews: Selected finalists will be interviewed on camera by LeRoy Watkins to be featured during the gala
